It was a dark and stormy night…well, actually it was a cold, rainy and dreary Thursday and I received a comment here at A Work of Heart from Mrs. Jules to check in at her blog CASA DE JULES…the clouds parted with a bit of sweet sunshine.
Mrs. Jules blessed me by giving me the above award. I discovered CASA DE JULES a few months ago and I love it! It is such an incredible blend of faith and beauty…actually can faith and beauty really be separated…Mrs. Jules exemplifies this well and she is one of my daily reads…I live in a bungalow as well but hers is one that could be in the pages of a magazine…just lovely…be sure to check her out for inspiration on many levels…THANK YOU!!!!
I would like to pass this on to a few blogs that I think are excellent in my book…please click away and pay them a visit…I assure you…you will return again and again! If you have received this award before…well, than it just bears repeating!
Susan at Adventurous Living-Susan is a great story teller, lover of God and His Word…she has become a much beloved blogging friend…if you put us side by side you would see our obvious differences but our hearts and lives bare so much in common…don’t you love how God works…clear across this country…there’s one that heart beats like mine…you will love her heart as well. Thanks for your daily encouragement Susan!
Bev at Keep Believing-You may recognize the name as being the organizer extraordinaire of the Cover to Cover Chronological Bible Reading that you see on this blog every Monday…but I would not have joined this group if I had not been drawn to her blog…she is the real deal…she shares so deeply about her love for the Lord and also so honestly about her own struggles and triumphs…you will be blessed by her blog and her huge heart and you will be challenged to live an authentic life before God and others.
Bo at The Difference of Day-Bo is the sister of my dear friend Cheryl…I am so glad that Bo is back to writing on her blog…she is a busy wife, mom, speaker/preacher and teacher…I am so glad that she is carving out the little shards of time that she has to put fingers to keyboard…I never know what I will find when I stop in and visit Bo…it could be a character study, a funny anecdote, a political pause, a pondering about the Savior…but it is all wrapped up by her irrepressible love of the Almighty God…you will enjoy her…so pay her a visit…you won’t regret it.
Caffe e Vino-This is one of my newest blog discoveries…actually she found me first (see how I take credit too quickly). I have to give a shout out for a fellow Wordpress blogger…we seem so outnumbered by Blogger…she is a design student at Texas A&M and has recently studied abroad in Tuscany…I know…how jealous are we?! I love her clear and heartfelt writing and her love for the Lord and others…I also like getting a flashback to my life as a college student…she may be younger than me…but there is nothing young about her relationship with the Lord. Oh, and check out her post here…what great goals…oh, and she always has such great quotes at the beginning of her posts…
Jennifer at I Will Look To The Hills…my sweet friend Jennifer once upon a time had a blog that I loved…but she had to close down shop…I pray just for a while…she has such a wonderful mind and love for the Lord, probably one of the purest most tender walks I have ever been blessed to witness and yet I know that she will shudder to even read that sentence but it is true, my dear friend…This world can learn a lot from you in many areas…I wanted to say that I miss her blog and it touched me deeply…you have been given a gift and it is a piece of beauty! But whatever you do…keep writing…in your private or public journal!
I have been blessed to receive and boy is it fun to give as well!
