Daily Light Evening Page

The deep things of God.

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I call you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.~ It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.

We have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you , according to the richeds of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man…that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be about to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height–to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

I COR. 2: 10; John 15: 15; Matt. 13: 11; I Cor. 2: 12; Eph. 3: 14-19

**What a privilege and a humbling honor that the Father wants to share with us the deep things of Himself…to reveal to us the mysteries of the kingdom…to know the all that has been given to us by God…and somehow to have enough comprehension to realize how vast God’s love for us is…and when we do…I am sure it won’t be on this earth…we will be filled with the fullness of God…

Can you even imagine the reality of that…it is truly more than I can wrap my mind around…overwhelming…yet exciting…just a mere pondering causes my spirit to erupt with praise to the One Who is King of Kings and Lord of Lords…Almighty God, You deserve all the glory and all the praise…Amen!

Blessings to you this day,

Helen

  1. “It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.”

This is hard to believe, isn’t it? Aren’t the mysteries of heaven supposed to be something that really cannot be understood. And yet they are so simple and so very near and precious.

    Thanks for the reminder!
