It’s rainy here in Portland, Oregon…that fine rain that comes down at such a pace that you are caught off guard by how quickly you are soaked.
We are a bit north of where it is anything but wet…my cousins in San Diego…some had to evacuate but all have been able to return home…I am thankful.
Lord, open up the skies and send forth your rain…
rain of provision,
rain of compassion,
an out stretched hand of tenderness.
We pray that you would rebuild not only homes but lives that have been devoured by flames.
We pray that you would bring peace where it has been consumed.
Lord, reign down…reign down!
Let it be so… Beautiful prayer.
